Dear Cindy and the Tracy Family,
We are deeply saddened to hear of your loss. All of us at Senator Ford would like you to know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. Your Father was obviously a visionary, both in his business and family life. We wish you well.

Dear Kelly and the entire Tracy family,
While I had only met Mr. Tracy a couple of times, Kelly always talked so highly of her father. And after reading his bio, I can see why. But mostly I can see how many of those traits he has passed on to Kelly and countless others. He did so many wonderful things while here and now he can watch over to make sure his "work" continues.

My heart and prayers go out to the entire Tracy family during this time.

All my love, Jill Kusner

  Dear Tracy Family:

“A successful man” observed Albert Einstein, is he who receives a great deal from his fellowmen, usually incomparably more than corresponds to his service to them. The value of a man, however, lies in what he gives and not what he is able to receive.

Tom exemplifies the above. From my brief encounters and by reading the entries in the guestbook, I found Tom to be much “bigger and better” than I thought. He hasn’t lived to provide only for his family and himself, but he has done much more.

He has lead many, he has given encouragement, he has given time, he has given laughter, he has given inspiration, and through the Tracy Family Foundation he has made generous contributions to numerous causes.

In short he has led a life that inspires emulation. More than feeling sad and sorry, we should all celebrate his life, cherish the beautiful memories, and thank god that we/you have shared your lives with such a great human being.

May his memories be a source of comfort, and the love and sympathy that surrounds you help lessen your sorrow.

Bedros H. Kojian, M.D.

  Dear Earma Jean and family,
Sincere sympathy to all of the Tracy family at this sad time. Tom is dearly missed at University College Cork where we had the privelege of conferring him with his honorary doctorate in 1999. Tom was a source of astute advice and above all a wonderful companion. I have cherished memories of meetings with Tom in both Cork and California. As a mark of respect to Tom the University flag will fly at half mast on Friday, March 31, 2006, the day on which his funeral mass will take place.
Through his generousity and personality he has touched many lives and all of us have been enriched by knowing Tom. While he had many accomplishments in his life he was above all else a family man who was proud of all of you, our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.

I had the great opportunity to cook for Tom and Erma Jean Tracy for over a year. I was lucky enough to meet the almost the whole family. I must say, I always looked forward to going to their home every week. Everyone always made me feel at home. Tom always made me laugh and kept me in good spirits. I remember one time he came into the kitchen and snuck a taste of one of the dishes and Kilian was like, don’t mind my dad he’s crazy. And the time I made Baked Alaska for him and he had the biggest smile, like a kid on Christmas, when I was making the meringue cause it was his favorite. He was a wonderful man and he will truly be missed. My love and prayers are with all of you.

God Bless,

  Dearest Cyndi and Family,
It's hard to know just what to say to warm and comfort you, for my feelings may be many but the words I have are few. I have alot of good memories of Tom, from the golf cart tours, and the calls to me saying Deb we got to move them Chemicals and my favorite was when we all were training on the new PDA's for RCRC & he came in and he picked one up to test its durability & he threw the PDA up in the air and it hit the floor like a rock testing it to make sure it was worth the $$ he had to pay for them it was a "Priceless" moment. Remember you have a friend who cares & to say your all in my heart and prayers.

Although we did not know Tom Tracy personally, we know that he did a wonderful job of raising his wonderful daughter, Cynthia. It takes a special parent to raise a special child.

God Bless
