I am signing this guestbook to communicate my deep sadness about the death of my godfather Tom Tracy.

Uncle Tom was a valued member of the Tracy clan-an integral presence in every family event, whether it be an anniversary celebration, wedding, birthday or graduation. At familial gatherings he could be called upon to recite an Irish blessing, share a tale or, most frequently, an off-colored joke or two.

Most people would agree that Tom Tracy possessed a lust for life and a joy for living. In fact, it would be fair to say he was a bit of a character, in the best sense of the word. Besides his robust sense of humor, what I will miss most about Uncle Tom is his passion for all things Celtic, most especially his ancestry. He remained, until his last breath, a proud and devout Irishman. It is no wonder, then, that he departed this world a few days after St. Patrick's day. His timing was always impeccable.

Goodbye Uncle Tom, may you find peace and tranquility in the next life. Thanks for the ancient stories, the hysterical impressions, the cards, the Christmas gifts, the Ir...
